Here is the story in the small city Riau. It had been so long the mother couldn’t see her son, Surya. Surya had been merantau (leaving) since 12 years old to China. The mother’s condition get to worst while her husband passed away. A mother now only living with adopted daughter, Sara. But still mother so missed with Surya. She believed that one day Surya will come to see his mother. The neighbor always babble about Surya will never come. But the mother doesn’t care of it.
Many years has passed. Surya had reached 25 years old. Surya came with an injury on abs, he was snapped by a man. The mother happily run near to his son and so much worried about his condition as well. Surya told everything to his mother “China is like the hell. They let me work like a dog without resting, they continuously command me with a lot of tasks. So I broke the contract and ran away from them. But one on them shoot me on my abs. luckily I am still alive and I can escape. Now I need your helps to save my life but don’t say anyone about me”. The mother and Sara try to fix his injury but they couldn’t.
A mother was force to call a doctor. A doctor came and fix his injury. Without saying anything the doctor went out. A mother couldn’t believe the doctor and prepare to run away to far. The police could trace their step. With a lot of strategy mother tried to escape from the police. She helped him with her life from police. She carried on the back through the river, through the forest, through the mountain. On the mountain police came near of them and Surya shoot the police’s foot. A mother stopped him and said “I don’t want you become a killer”. A mother couldn’t leave a police on the mountain and helped the police to walk to city while Surya and Sara went ahead to city.
A mother persuaded a police to give up and not catching Surya, “he is the only one I have in the world and I can’t live without him”. A Police answered. “I understand. I am also the father of the son. The son that was killed by Surya. You’re wrong understand about Surya. I came to catch him for my son”. The mother said “noooooo, (She took a breath for a moment) but my son still alive and your son has gone. Please help me to own him. I can’t give him to you.
Finally the police gave up and let a mother own her son. A mother run happily and shout to Surya. But Surya got caught while threatening and stealing all of money and Sara’s jewelry. “I will make a new life with all this things, I will leave you all. You are just barrier for me”. Sara said “no. you can’t leave me please don’t leave. I can’t live without you. We have been married and here is our baby”. Surya didn’t care then killed Sara with a gun. A mother was waiting for moment and then shot a gun toward Surya. A mother came to baby. She picked up a baby and said. My lovely Surya please don’t cry. Your mother is here. I will be with you forever.
